BOBINA PER XLV NYMPH

VISION engineers have worked their butts off to do the XLV fly reel family. These modern looking reels made from CNC machined aluminum have a proper and sealed disc brake package, a real large-arbour design and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions. All moving parts are greased with SKF's water resistant bearing grease.

The XLV Nymph is another special model within the XLV series. It perfectly balances Vision's longer Nymphmaniac rods, but also cuts a grand figure on any other 9 - 11ft. rod of other manufacturers in line classes #4 or #5. In contrast to the normal version of the XLV reels, the black nymph reel model has a closed frame design which prevents the leader from slipping out or trapping particularly thin fly lines. The model is also narrower than the standard XLV reels but has a larger spool core diameter. The extra-large arbor design minimizes the memory effect in special nymph leaders and ensures a particularly fast line retrieve. The brake works even gentler than in the other XLV models and can be adjusted within 360° extremely accurate.

An ideal, reliable partner on every fly rod in line class # 4 - 5 that is specifically used for nymph fishing with fine leaders and tippets. In addition the XLV Nymph is an eye-catcher with its metallic green reel foot and green trim with an engraved stonefly nymph. The spool can be easily removed by spring pressure and the reel can be easily converted from left to right hand retrieve.
